With 1) Bobby's contract expiring at the end of next year and 2) Bobby driving for RCR in the Nationwide (Busch) Series and 3) RCR adding a new car for next year, it seems like Bobby is not a far-fetched place to start your wish list, but isn't this starting the 2009 silly season a bit early?

According to R. Childress, Bobby is probably staying with the Petty's. I'm on the fence about the issue of Bobby staying with the Petty's but they have been taking steps to get better like moving to a shop that is closer to the available pool of potential employees. At this point I would be very surprised if Bobby makes the move unless performance really
tanks.
